A couple’s supermarket wedding cake goes horribly wrong … but people believe that if they’re this tight, it’ll prove them right

Much effort is put into making sure your wedding day goes right on schedule.

But one couple was shocked to discover a major flaw on their wedding cake after a supermarket baker wrote the wrong words on it.

The couple had ordered their cake through an amateur cake decorator to save some money – but the weird mistake proves why it is often worth calling in experts to get the job done.

Instead of donating the word “Wiser Wedding” – referring to the couple’s last name – the white wedding cake ended with “Why is there a wedding?” plastered over the top.

The amusing mistake was originally posted on Facebook, and the couple’s wedding planner wrote, “This is why you hire professionals. My customers bought this from our local bakery … it is supposed to be called ‘Smarter Wedding’.

“This is sure to be her wedding horror story.”

This is sure to be their wedding horror story.

It has since gone viral on other social sites including Reddit, with many commenting on the horrific wedding mistake.

While it certainly left many in a fit of giggles, some believe they are fine to be this tight – and that more seasoned bakers would have taken additional measures to avoid just that.

One wrote, “As a person who works in a grocery bakery … I’ve seen some things. It’s really weird what people want cheap for their weddings. “

Another said they always write down sentences to avoid drama.

Proverb: “I work in a bakery in a grocery store … I’ll write down and show what I’ve written to those who want me to write on cakes.

“If it’s wrong when I return it, or if you pick up the wrong order, we’ll fix it and withdraw money.

“Whoever did this was either an idiot or didn’t understand English. Sometimes it’s hard to understand people, but that’s why I write it down. “

Others believe the mix-up would have made the wedding, with the mistake being a topic of conversation for years to come.

Amused, one person wrote, “To be honest, I think I would just find this funny and take tons of photos with it and show it to everyone!”

And another agreed: “Great topic to talk about.”

While a third joked: “That’ll take the cake.”
