All pictures by Kangana’s brother Aksht Shaadi for some wedding decor inspiration

The wedding of Kangana Ranaut’s brother Aksht may have been an intimate and small affair in the face of the pandemic, but the Udaipur celebrations were still opulent and full of decoration inspiration. We know this because Kangana’s sister Rangoli posted a lot of photos and videos from the events, be it this one Mehendi or the Pherasand gives us an insight into the beautiful ambience.

The Mehendi The ceremony was all about colorful and quirky desi aesthetics

The bright and colorful mehendi ceremony, which turned into a sangeet after sunset, was all about bright, happy colors. Spherical bouquets of orange and yellow marigolds hung with strands of cream-colored tuberose adorned the venue. Marigold arches and garlands of yellow and saffron added pops of color to various parts of the venue. The seating was decorated with bright Indian embroidery with mirror and pop colors. So the yellows, reds and fuchsias combined with the warm colors of the flowers.

In addition, there were artistically decorated bridges and lawns on the lake. This made for a summery, happy look that looked beautiful in the sunlight.

The flower arrangements at the wedding were exquisite

The best part about the decor at Aksht’s wedding was the floral design. The green has been perfectly balanced with flowers in soft pastel shades. There were no loud purples and blues involved, which made for a tasteful look for a daytime event.

The actual wedding ceremony was full of roses in various shades of peach and pink, paired with dark green leaves. The environment of the mandap was also covered with pink Desi Gulab Petals. The pillars of the mandap were decorated with pink fabric to match the cute roses. Overall, the entire theme of the wedding revolved around spring, full of pinks and greens, like being in a rose garden.

In fact, even the entrance to the mehendi ceremony featured pretty flower arrangements. A wall of immaculate cream, ivory and white roses, orchids and more adorned the entrance. There was also an all-white and green arrangement of anthuriums, roses, and more orchids.
