KOCHI: Even though the pandemic was a spoilsport in organizing wedding parties, some still choose to make the most of their celebrations while following health protocols. However, at a time like this, finding the right people for all of the tasks involved – makeup artists to photographers – can be a challenge for families.

BookMyDay, a start-up from Kerala, launched the state’s first virtual wedding fair, designed to easily connect wedding planners with vendors. The fair takes place on October 9th, 10th and 11th and is attended by designers, makeup artists, photographers, event planners, caterers, bakers and representatives of the hospitality industry.

“The industry is going through a difficult time. Our idea is to create newer opportunities for customer loyalty. Via our luxury virtual wedding fair ( we offer suppliers and customers a platform where they can meet and interact, plan ahead and receive multiple options. More than 40 categories are open to customers, ”said Nishin Nassar, Founder of BookMyDay.

Visitors can register at the fair, explore e-booths where vendors display their profiles, photos and videos of their works, and connect with suitable dealers via chat or a phone call. “If necessary, they can download brochures from potential providers. All of these services, including registration, are free for visitors, ”he added.
