Luke Combs’ wedding cake adds an asterisk to “Beer never broke my heart”

Aside from the addenda, “Beer never broke my heart” was the theme of the happy couple’s solemn wedding cake. It is shaped like a giant beer can and reads “Nicole & Beer never broke my heart”.
“Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got married to my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, it’s forever here,” Luke continued Instagram when they revealed the big day had come and gone despite the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic.
“Yesterday was the best day !!”, Nicole adds in a separate post. “I’m so happy to be with you for the rest of my life! While we wish we could have had every single one of our family and friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!”
The Instagram post only shows one side of the cake. As it turns out, it’s designed like a Miller Lite can.
“My favorite beer of all time – Miller Lite – sent us a fantastic groom cake in honor of our wedding anniversary,” Luke said in a press release. “I’ve been a Miller Lite fan for years and I really appreciate everything they’ve done to make Nicole and my day so cool.”
If these two weren’t so adorable, it would be easy to tell how Luke and his country mates can really do something about beer.
The couple announced their engagement in 2018 after dating for two years. Anyone who follows them on social media seems pretty clear that they have something very special. Their relationship dates back to Combs’ meteoric rise to fame that made him a contemporary Keith urban, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and other established stars.
