The couple’s Olive Garden Wedding Catering menu included a late night hit
Unlimited breadsticks, soup and salad with a side of marinara? This is amore. Two Olive Garden lovers recently got married and hosted the ultimate pasta party, including Olive Garden’s wedding catering menu options, served for both dinner at the front desk and a late night snack.
Married couple Samantha Roberts and Jeff Gilleland of Grand Rapids, Michigan first bonded over their love of the franchise and even got engaged in 2017 with the help of Olive Garden. During her childhood, Roberts dined regularly with her family and Gilleland developed a taste for Olive Garden after visiting his local sports team dinner venue. (After all, loading carbohydrates before a match is real.) The two of them found comfort in having dates at the Olive Garden.
Two years ago, Gilleland met Olive Garden’s Pasta Passport to Italy, which gave 50 enthusiastic fans the opportunity to purchase a week-long all-inclusive trip to the land of pasta and pizza for two. The cost was only $ 200 (and came with an all-access pass to Olive Garden for the year), but the chances of snapping the item were slim. This year, a whopping 21,000 people bought pasta passes on the Olive Garden website in the first minute.
Somehow, Gilleland was among the 50 happy customers who won the trip of a lifetime. He asked the question while in Italy, and the couple’s unwavering support and fandom for Olive Garden even showed when they had a themed engagement shoot in the months that followed. It was only natural that at some point on the couple’s wedding day the franchise would offer something special: the oh-so-coveted Olive Garden wedding catering menu.
As part of Olive Garden’s wedding catering menu, guests could enjoy everything from penne to fettuccini. However, the couple’s late night menu may have far outweighed the reception offerings. After the dance party ended, guests ate themselves in a breadstick bar, where the franchise’s famous entrees were served with a range of dipping sauces.
Eventually, guests left with the ultimate party favor (on the theme of the rest of the wedding): Infinite Pasta To … You guessed it, Olive Garden.
