This morning Rosie spoke to Marc Winjen from M Robinson Fine Jewelers about Verragio engagement rings and wedding bands.
How is Verragio different and what are they known for?
They pioneered casting techniques with 3D printers (dental equipment) for a decade before they caught on in other applications. Many of their rings are designed and cast in up to 7 individual parts. All assembled by hand in a way that the industry has never seen before.
7 pieces in a ring? Can you explain how this works?
So the lace work and the floral halo, the lace shaft, the negative space and the precise bead patterns cannot be cast in one mold and carved by hand. Each piece is cast, carved by hand and then put together to give the Verragio line a fine and princess-like level of detail – airy, pointed and individual. I can see a Verragio from across the room.
Who is the Verragio client for? Is it really only for kings and princesses?
No, but you will feel regal. Women of all ages are attracted to Verragio, it’s so feminine and it’s really like wearing Cinderella’s cart or a tiara for your finger!
