Vintage Fish and Chip Van Business The Hungry Floe Creates The Ultimate Wedding Planner For The Bride And Groom – Press Release
SPALDING, Lincolnshire – February 22, 2021 – To help couples plan their big day with ease and get more business done, an innovative mobile catering company in England has created and published an in-depth guide to problem solving.
The Hungry Plaice – whose business is based on the traditional British favorite fish and chips and serves the deep-fried dish that’s hand-whipped and cooked fresh from vintage vans, along with a sprinkling of mushy peas – has become a popular alternative catering option for corporate events, weddings and private parties have become.
The company was nominated as a regional finalist in East Midlands for Wedding Caterer of the Year at the Wedding Industry Awards 2021. They came up with the idea of the ultimate wedding planning guide to make wedding planning less chaotic and stressful – and attracting more bookings, said owner Georgina Lee-Price.
The ’80s style retro food vans are also in demand as they can safely provide high quality service amid the coronavirus pandemic using COVID19 safe procedures, including social distancing measures. With a Level 5 food hygiene rating, The Hungry Plaice ensures customers receive a unique but safe service for their guests, Lee-Price said.
Scaling wedding planning heights
The ultimate wedding planning guide for the bride and groom with 13 PDF pages can be downloaded for free from The Hungry Plaice website and covers all stages of wedding planning in detail. It is divided into months in which time-sensitive tasks and orders must be completed and placed. It starts on day 1 and discusses what time of the year a wedding is best.
It is then suggested that you hire a wedding planner or do everything yourself, work out the budget – the company also has free wedding budget templates that can be used – to decide on a place to figure out what type of wedding reception you want to have , and to consider whether you should get wedding insurance if you cancel or something goes wrong.
Catering and menu decisions fall within the “12 months prior to departure” area. Couples are encouraged to consider the food choices of their guests, including vegetarians and vegans, and may consider opting for a fun and unusual choice in a fish-and-chip van.
A great plaice to eat
Not only are there fish and chips with The Hungry Plaice, but there are other options too, including jumbo pork sausages and vegan sausages offered by the trusted Ford Transit Mark 2s. Food allergies and intolerances can also be taken into account on request.
Nine months to go until the big day, says the guide, is it time to find out who will be there and whom to invite, the honeymoon destination – a place to stay or an exotic location somewhere in half the world? – and put together the wedding gift list.
An A-peel wedding resource
Then it comes down to ordering the wedding cake (at least six months required as many bakeries have full order books), deciding who is sitting where (with advice to keep arguments wide apart), hiring a wedding photographer, and maybe a video of to consider the event too.
To get closer to what will hopefully be the happiest day in the couple’s life, wedding rings must be selected and ordered to fit at least three months in advance, along with transportation, deciding on married names, and writing vows around the two month period – Brand – followed by a final check a week before the wedding and a rehearsal the day before.
“We are delighted that we have created this detailed guide to wedding planning based on our own experience with weddings, including wedding catering, and we hope couples will find it essential,” said Georgina Lee-Price, Owner of the hungry plaice.
